How do I link my account?
  1. Use the easy verification panel that the server owners have set up for you and click link account.
  2. Type in your VRChat User ID in the field provided. Please note, your User ID starts with USR_XXXX_XXXX etc. If your User ID is only a string of numbers/letters such as A1B2C3D4, you have a legacy ID and must follow our LEGACY ID PROCESS.
  3. Follow the prompts to insert the code provided onto your VRChat profile. Please note: it must be in your profile, not your status.
  4. You're now linked and as long as your badge was visible, you are verified and/or age verified.
  5. Join our Discord server for official support..

How do I set up my server?
  1. Purchase the subscription from Gumroad (even if it's $0) — this provides your license key, which is required for bot activation.
  2. Invite the Nox Vitae bot to your server using the official invite link.
  3. Activate the bot: Use the bot's /activate command in any channel on your Discord server. This will apply the license key from your subscription to the bot.

    Be sure to select the tier that reflects the number of members you expect to have by the end of the month. If your community grows beyond your current plan's limit, activation will pause and you’ll be prompted to purchase a new license key.
  4. Run the /setup command to configure your server:
    • Select which role(s) you want the bot to apply to users.
    • Choose the role that will be linked to verified 18+ users IF you would like to do so - this is optional.
    • Note: You can only pair one of your existing roles with the Nox Vitae 18+ verified role.

    Best Practice: We recommend keeping the default Nox Vitae roles for internal server metrics and bot behavior tracking.

    Once setup is complete:

    • Raise the bot's role as high as possible in your server's role hierarchy.
    • Then run the /create_verification_panel command in the desired verification channel.

    Why raise the bot’s role?
    Channel-specific permission overrides can prevent roles from being applied correctly. For best results, create a dedicated verification channel where @everyone cannot send messages or add reactions.

    What happens if I lose access to my Discord or VRChat account?

    If you’ve lost access to either account, we can initiate a one-time data deletion and reassignment process (not guaranteed in all cases).

    Send the following information to noxvitaeofficial@gmail.com:

    1. Previous Discord ID (numeric string, not just your username)
    2. Previous Discord Username
    3. Previous VRChat Profile Link
    4. Ticket # from our Discord server

    Important: This may not be approved if it conflicts with our Acceptable Use Policy or appears to be abuse of the system.

    What if I have a VRChat legacy ID or non-standard account?

    VRChat has deprecated support for legacy IDs via API. If you use one of these accounts, verification must be manually initiated by our team.

    To begin the process:

    1. Open a ticket in our Discord server.
    2. Provide your Discord ID and your VRChat profile link.
    3. We will issue you a verification code.
    4. You must add that code to both your VRC profile bio and an email to noxvitaeofficial@gmail.com.

    Once ownership is confirmed, we will manually link your accounts.

    Can other people verify on my behalf?

    No. Account linking must be done by the user directly for privacy and security reasons.

    However, Discord server owners may report issues on your behalf if you encounter a problem with the bot and do not resolve it yourself. In such cases, the server owner may provide your:

    • Discord ID
    • Discord Username
    • VRChat Username

    This is allowed under our Privacy Policy.
